Cast: Party, Elle, Martos, Refugees
Setting: Southern shore of the river Eldinore

At long last the party is within sight of Eben’s Spur. They have escorted the refugees home, reaching the southern shore of the river Eldinore. Now they must find a way to get them across the river safely.
This can be accomplished by making use of boats that were scuttled by Nebiat in the river. A score of them have already been dredged up by Daffyd and the citizens of the town, though only three have been repaired. The rest will require time to fix.
The scene will begin in the morning, which dawns bright and clear. The refugees arrived the last night and are thrilled that this will be their last night spent out of doors.

Events
- Assuming Viktor checks the box he will find the note from Tal and discover the theft of the ring. Elle will burst out laughing when she learns of this. Martos will be extremely irate over the theft.
- There are nine broken boats on the shore that need repairing. Viktor is the best person to do this
- As the people are gathering on shore and repairing boats someone in the crowd will call out, pointing to the three boats that have left the dock in Eben’s Spur and are coming their way.
- Daffyd is standing in the prow of the lead boat. As it approaches he leaps off the side and walks across the water to the PCs position. He greets Martos first, taking him in a fierce hug and pounding him on the back.
- Erana comes up to report to Elle, telling her that the boats are nearly finished. Millie comes up and asks if they should set up the cookpots and make lunch before the crossing. Daffyd watches this with amusement and then comments on Elle taking a leadership role. She is clearly embarassed.
- Daffy approaches Terwynn and claps him on the shoulder. He asked how the journey went and how the staff worked out for him. He is inordinately proud of everything his apprentice has accomplished.
- The other boats arrive on shore and Elora debarks. She approaches Martos and embraces him. They have a whispered conversation. Elora then congratulates the group with a wide smile.
- Elle begins barking orders and getting refugees loaded on to boats. This leaves the rest of the party to speak with Daffyd and Elora, unless they choose to step in and help.
- The crossing is tense, but uneventful. Nothing attacks the refugees, and by sunset everyone has made it across. The party is exhausted, but they have finally accomplished their mission.
- Daffyd invites the party to dinner at Eben’s Manor, which he has assumed control of after Marcus’s death.
