The day after the funeral celebration dawns bright and cold. Spring is fast approaching, but will not arrive for a few more weeks. There is enough stored food to make it until after the first harvest, though people will probably be eating more fish than they might like.
More than a third of the town has been destroyed, with another third seriously damaged. Many building will need to be knocked down and rebuilt, while others can be repaired. It will take months to bring the town back to where it was before, and even when that happens the population will never be the same.
Nearly two thousand people were killed over the course of the attacks, knocking the population down to a mere three thousand people. Many of those people relied on boats to make their living, and three quarters of the fleet have been destroyed.
Every citizen is focused on repairing the damage and bringing stability back to the town. They are hoping their new heroes will stay and help.

Events
- Daffyd summons the party to Eben’s Manor the morning after the celebration. The manor is packed with influential people. Harl, Erana, Millie and many others are there. He explains that they must work together to repair the town, and that people will be divided into teams. Tobius and Grond will oversee the lumber operation, which will gather as many logs as possible and use the river to bring them to town.
- Erana, Harl and Viktor are in charge of rebuilding. They will use the lumber when it arrives.
- Martos will be using the Temple of Aelianna as a shelter for the homeless. The Temple will also offer meals to anyone in need. Elle will assist Martos in running the temple.
- Terwynn will be excused from all work and sent to the Academy to study. Daffyd forbids him to leave, explaining that he has much to learn and little time to do it. Daffyd promises to come visit Terwynn later that day.
- Over the next several days hundreds of logs will float down the Eldinore. Viktor gathers and shapes them to help repair buildings, beginning with the forge, mill and lumber mill. People begin rebuilding boats and sending out fishing expeditions. In less than a week the town is coming back together and despair has been replaced by hope.
- On the fourth day Ubak comes back to town. He escorted his warriors home and then flew back to speak with Tobius and Grond. He wants to discuss the fate of the Bone Eaters and wants to know what they plan to do. He offers them a different life, that of joining the Orokh and living with them instead of the humans.
- Erana tells Terwynn she’d like to go to Valys. If he joins the military she would like to make a life there, and possibly open her own smithy.
