Principus Regulus Valys

Principus Regulus Valys hates ceremony with a burning passion.  He avoids his numerous titles, instead preferring his friends to call him Reg.  This is considered a huge breach of protocol by Hasran nobles, who look down on Regulus for his lack of décor.  Nothing could make Reg happier.

He has a passionate hatred for all things Hasran, and sees them as a yoke on the neck of Valys.  He would like nothing better than to cecede from the Imperium, but his father Etrian refuses to hear of it.

Reg was sent to the Hasran Imperial Academy when he was fifteen, and spent the next three years learning to become a blademaster.  He has catalized at The Hammer of Reevanthara, The Reactor, The Radiant and The Arm.

The Arm- +2 CHA

The Radiant- Golden Wings of the Seraphim

The Hammer of Reevanthara- +5 Smithing

The Reactor- Fire Magic

Reg gained fire magic, smithing and the coveted Golden Wings of the Seraphim from his trip through the Hasran controlled catalysts.  This helped shape the man he has since become.  The Principus has become a gifted smith, and used his skills to craft the fabulous blade that he now wields.

His true passion is swordplay, but he has acquiesced to his father’s wishes and spends a great deal of time studying fire magic.  Reg has learned to combine both into the deadly artform of the Spellsword.  This makes him one of the most dangerous nobles in Hasra, something more than one enemy has learned to fear.

Reg spent five years in the Imperial Academy and another five serving his term of service.  Afterwards he was stationed in Valys, where he has been permanently attached to his father’s command.  For the last three years he has spent his time drilling militias, practicing with the sword and annoying Hasran nobles.

The Principus loves a good party, and goes out of his way to attend as many balls as possible.  He is known as quite the ladies man, though he has yet to choose a potential wife.  This makes him the most elligible bachelor in Valys, which is part of why he enjoys the parties so much.
