Olivanticus created the first set of hardened redwood breastplates, which were designed to protect his officers and apprentices. They provide impressive protection, without restricting movement or encumbering the wearer.
The armor is crafted from a single piece of redwood that has been hollowed out to fit around a torso. It is further strengthened with an infusion of vampyr blood, which allows the wood to regenerate any damage it might suffer.
