The Mask of Ukambaritu is an unusual eldimagus in that it is partially finished upon creation. It must be created at a Dream catalyst, at which time it automatically gains its first catalization (Cause Fear). It may then receive a 2nd catalization as normal.
The mask is carved from Enchanted Bay Wood, which only grows around the Gateway of Shadows. Tribal shamans of the lizard people then apply a special ink ground from enchanted clay found near the Gateway. The resulting mask will meld itself to the wearer’s face.
Both the disguise and fear spells can be used at will as a standard action. This does not provoke an attack of opportunity. A target may only be affected by one use of fear per 24 hour period.
Capstone Ability: The mask now allows the bearer to induce nightmares in any sleeping taget. The target receives a will save DC 18. If they succeed nothing happens. If they fail they gain no benefits from sleep and do not gain a recovery upon waking. In addition they suffer a -2 penalty to all actions until they get a good night’s sleep.
