Spellsword’s are the lesser known cousins of the highly feared Imperial Battlemage. Instead of relying on the awesome firepower granted by the Greater Path of Destruction they utilize a mix of martial and arcane skill.
Most spellswords use a sword, as implied by their name. However, a few do deviate from tradition and use spears, blunt weapons or occasionally something more exotic. Regardless of the weapon every spellsword possesses the same awesome ability.
They may channel their destructive spells through their weapons, not only delivering the blow but also including the spell in the process. Their spell magic is neither as varied nor as powerful as a battlemage, but the spells they do have are a powerful addition to their considerable martial skills.

Arcane Blow- Starting at 3rd level, a Spellsword can use a standard action to deliver touch-range spells he knows through his weapon as a melee attack, provided that the spell has a casting time of one standard action or less. A successful attack delivers normal damage from the weapon and delivers the spell as well. Casting a spell this way does not provoke an attack of opportunity.
Greater Arcane Blow- At 7th level, a Spellsword can use this power as part of the full attack action, and the channeled spell affects each target the duskblade hits in melee during that round.
